This page is to help out players of the game who would like to venture to the "gambling side". This will give you an explanation of Wagering Terms and what they mean, along with a table for Win Bets.

WINTo bet a horse to come in 1st Place. The horse has to come in 1st in order for you to win. This pays the highest out of Win, Place, and Show.
PLACETo bet a horse to come in 2nd place. The horse has to come in 1st or 2nd for you to win. This pays the 2nd highest out of Win, Place, and Show.
SHOWTo bet a horse to come in 3rd place. The horse has to come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd for you to win. This pays the lowest out of Win, Place, and Show.
EXACTATo bet 2 horses to come in 1st AND 2nd. If you bet a straight exacta, they have to come in the exact order you pick them in. If you play an EXACTA BOX, they can come in either way in 1st and 2nd.
TRIFECTATo bet 3 horses to come in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Same applies for a STRAIGHT TRIFECTA and TRIFECTA BOX, however a Trifecta box will cost you $6 for 3 horses for a $1 bet.

1/9 = $2.10 - $2.30
1/5 = $2.40 - $2.70
2/5 = $2.80 - $2.90
1/2 = $3.00 - $3.10
3/5 = $3.20 - $3.50
4/5 = $3.60 - $3.90
1/1 = $4.00 - $4.30
6/5 = $4.40 - $4.70
7/5 = $4.80 - $4.90
3/2 = $5.00 - $5.10
8/5 = $5.20 - $5.50
9/5 = $5.60 - $5.90
2/1 = $6.00 - $6.90
5/2 = $7.00 - $7.90

For anything 10/1 and above, please follow the 1st formula below

For ANYTHING X/1 (3/1, 15/1, 45/1 etc.) take the 1st number, multiply by 2, and thats the profit for a $2 bet, so 3/1 would be (3 * 2 = $6) a $6 profit for a $2 bet, which brings back $8.00 total for a $2 bet.
For ANYTHING X/2 (1/2, 3/2, 5/2, 7/2, 9/2) Simply look at the 1st number, that's the profit for a $2 bet, so 7/2 would be a $7 profit for a $2 bet, which would be $9.00 total for a $2 bet.
